Insight Economics (www.InsightEconomics.com) is seeking economists with outstanding analytical skills and a desire to grow a professional career in economic consulting. Successful candidates will work on economic and valuation-related projects in a litigation consulting setting. The position is available in Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina or San Diego, California. Candidates must specify their preferred office location in their cover letter.
Key Responsibilities:
• Research companies, industries, products, and market trends.
• Review/evaluate industry reports, company financials, and economic/financial models.
• Demonstrate effective research, analysis, and report drafting.
• Develop complex economic and financial models.
• Communicate work product to management.
• Contribute to the development of presentations, expert economic & financial reports, and other client deliverables.
• Coordinate with consultants and economists to improve work product.
• Communicate directly with clients on certain project aspects.
• Assist and guide junior consultants.
Qualifications:
• Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Economics, Business, Accounting, Political Science, or a related field.
• Work experience in business, consulting, or related field is preferred.
• Excellent communication and analytical reasoning skills.
• Capable of working with top-tier consultants and clients.
