The Faculty of Business, Economics and Informatics of the University of Zurich invites
applications for an Assistant Professorships with tenure track in Econometrics in the Digital Age.

The Department of Economics of the University of Zurich is inviting applications at the rank of Assistant Professor with tenure track, starting September 2024. Candidates should hold a Ph.D. degree in Economics with specialization in Econometrics and have an excellent record of academic achievements in the relevant field. Successful candidates are appointed to three-year contracts, renewable once, with evaluation for tenure after six years.

The Department of Economics offers an exciting and collegial research environment, competitive terms and conditions and generous research support. Knowledge of German is not a requirement. In order to increase the number of women in leading academic positions, we especially encourage women to apply.

Complete applications including cover letter, CV, job market papers, and (for the rank of Assistant Professor) at least 3 letters of recommendation will be reviewed starting Nov 15th, 2023. First-stage interviews will be conducted online in December 2023.
