The Fletcher School invites applications for a tenure track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning in September 2024. We are looking for candidates who are committed to excellence in teaching, research, and service.

Qualifications
A Ph.D. in Economics (or related fields) is required, though ABD with a firm completion date by Spring 2024 will also be considered.

Candidates must have demonstrated evidence of an active research agenda and teaching excellence and be ready to teach at the graduate level in an integrated, cross-disciplinary environment with a strong international student body.

Fletcher is open to candidates with a variety of research agendas, area specializations, and methodological approaches relating to microeconomic analysis of economic development. We especially encourage applicants whose work falls into intersections between development economics and other fields of relevance to microeconomic policy, as well as candidates who can bridge the gap between theory and practice, bring global perspectives to their teaching and research, and convey the importance of economics in challenging and dynamic contexts. All candidates will be evaluated based on their potential for meaningful scholarship, resulting in publications in top academic journals. The new faculty member will teach three courses per year, including Development Microeconomics.
