The Department of Economics at the University of Texas at Arlington invites applications for a tenure track assistant or associate professor of economics. The position entails a strong commitment to research, teaching, and service. Faculty are expected to contribute to scholarship through publications in outstanding journals in their chosen field. The teaching load will be 2-2, likely with a mix of undergraduate and graduate courses. The Department will consider applications from candidates specializing in any field. However, strong preference will be given to candidates with research and teaching interests at the intersection of economics and machine learning/artificial intelligence.
