The Department of Economics at Denison University invites applications for a tenure-track position in the field of Labor Economics at the rank of Assistant Professor starting August 2024. Strong candidates will demonstrate a commitment to teaching at the undergraduate level and an appreciation of the interdisciplinary nature of a small residential liberal arts institution, as well as a clear and active research agenda in the field of labor economics which complements the existing strengths of the department. Primary teaching responsibilities will include an upper-level elective course in labor economics; introductory and advanced econometrics; introductory courses in economics; and additional elective courses related to the candidate’s area of expertise. The teaching load for this position is 5 courses per academic year.
