Tenure-track position at the Advanced Assistant or Associate Professor level; candidate with exceptional qualifications may also be considered for a Full Professor position. This position is in Applied Microeconomics with interest in development economics, industrial organization and health economics. Responsibilities with a regular appointment include undergraduate and graduate teaching, curriculum development, and a strong promise of scholarly research. Instruction at the undergraduate and graduate levels will be in the Economics Department. Position requires participation in department, college, and university service and governance and professional service. Continued development of professional capabilities and participation in scholarly activities is a must and includes travel to and participation in professional conferences, societies, and meetings. Required Qualifications:
-Ph.D. in Economics by appointment start date
-Demonstrated significant scholarship
-Demonstrated scholarly expertise in development economics, industrial organization and/or health economics
-Demonstrated experience of significant teaching ability
-Demonstrated abilities in curriculum development

Preferred Qualifications:
-A track record of external funding
-A wide range of interdisciplinary interests
