Hunan University （HNU） is honored as an “Ancient Millennium Academy, Famous Centennial University” recently. HNU has been directly under the administration of the Ministry of Education, which is also a special funded key university in the projects of “211”, “985” and “Double top first class university plan”.
The College of Finance and Statistics (CFS) at HNU has been one of the top programs in China. Faculties at CFS have published on decent academic journals such as Annals of Statistics, Biometrika, Journal of Financial Economics, etc.

Junior candidates are expected to have a Ph.D. degree by August 2024 and show evidence of promising research ability. Senior candidates must have a Ph.D. degree and a demonstrably strong research record. Competitive salary (annual salary, RMB 400,000-800,000, pretax), research grant and housing subsidy are provided, with a regular teaching load of 2 courses per year.
