The School of Management and Social Sciences (SMSS) of Universidad ORT Uruguay invites applications for two faculty positions (one research-teaching and on full-teaching) starting March 2023. Candidates should have a PhD in Economics, Management, Business or a closely related field. They should be committed to excellence in teaching and research. Although this call is open to all candidates within Economics and Business, special attention would be paid to candidates that specialize in: macroeconomics, finance and trade.

Job responsibilities: The research-teaching-position offers challenging opportunities for candidates with solid research agenda but who also enjoy and excel at classroom teaching. The typical full-teaching-position involves a teaching load of three courses per semester and is carried out at the undergraduate and MBA level. Fluency in Spanish is required.
