Full Text of JOE Listing:

The Korea Institute of Finance (KIF) is a leading research institute in Seoul, Korea, with a primary focus on the financial industry, both domestic and international financial markets, and financial policies, among other areas.

KIF is currently seeking PhDs for research fellow positions in the fields of economics, finance, or related fields. It is not required for PhD candidates to have prior papers specifically in the areas of financial economics or finance. Candidates with strong training in any field of economics and finance who have an interest in financial markets and the financial industry are encouraged to apply. PhD candidates are expected to complete all degree requirements by the end of September 2024. Experienced PhDs should have no more than four years of research experience following the receipt of their PhDs. Proficiency in both written and spoken Korean is a prerequisite for all candidates. Interviews will be conducted virtually.
