Sacred Heart University – Visiting Full-time Faculty: Business Analytics, Dept of Economics & Finance

The Jack Welch College of Business & Technology (WCBT) invites applications for a one-year visiting assistant professor position in the Department of Economics and Finance, starting January 2024. Candidates are expected to teach courses in the graduate MS program in Business Analytics.

The ideal candidate will be expected to:

Teach data analytics courses. Potential courses include Introductory Python, Applied Statistics using Python, Supply-Chain Analytics, or Pricing and Revenue Analytics.
Participate in department, school, and university-level meetings and services
A solid background in statistics and a programing language, such as Python, is required.
Requirements:

Terminal degree in computer science, economics, applied mathematics, statistics, or a related field. ABDs and candidates with an MS degree who have strong experience applying analytics and statistics in real-world applications will also be considered. The ideal candidate should be versatile, with an ability to teach a variety of courses in the analytics field.
