Job Title: Assistant Professor (Natural Resource and Agricultural Production Economics)
Position Description: This 12-month tenure-track faculty position will provide expertise and leadership in applied research (70%) and undergraduate and graduate teaching (30%) in the areas of natural resource and agricultural production economics, with a strong focus on analytical and digital applications related to precision agriculture and/or natural resources. The successful candidate will have demonstrated expertise in natural resource and agricultural production economics and is expected to have extensive knowledge of microeconomics and agribusiness with an ability to contribute to the undergraduate agribusiness program and the graduate program in agricultural economics. Successful acquisition of extramural grant funds to support the research program of this position is expected. Teaching responsibilities will include instruction of one to two courses per year in the areas of quantitative methods, natural resource economics, and production economics, as well as student advising commensurate with the appointment. Participation in departmental and university committees and activities is expected.
