Luther College seeks an Assistant Professor of Economics, a tenure-eligible position, to begin fall 2024. Applicants should hold Ph.D., or complete requirements by September 1, 2024. The successful candidate will demonstrate teaching excellence, a promising research program compatible with undergraduate education, a commitment to mentoring and advising students, and a passion for the liberal arts. Strong applicants from all fields will be considered, preference will be given to candidates who are able to teach statistics, econometrics, or intermediate theory courses, as well as, elective courses in their field and opportunities to contribute to interdisciplinary programs. Opportunities exist for funding to pursue scholarship.
