Academic: Ph.D. in Economics or related disciplines. Candidates should have strong teaching and research skills. Candidates with experience and interests in development economics (JEL O0) are strongly preferred. The candidate is expected to publish peer-reviewed articles, teach courses and advise students at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and engage in service. The position may include participation in remote education.
Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in economics or a closely related discipline. Candidates must have the degree in hand by the date of hire. A field in development economics (JEL O0). Applicants must be able to demonstrate evidence of successful teaching experience and research productivity in economics either in a prior professional position or as a doctoral student.
Preferred Qualifications: Candidates whose research emphasizes international linkages (JEL O19) and human capital (JEL O15) in economic development, as well as candidates with a secondary field in labor economics (JEL J0) are preferred. Applicants who become finalists may be asked to provide additional materials.
