Full Text of JOE Listing:
We seek candidates looking to assume a position in energy and environmental economics analysis. The associate will work with Professor Christopher Knittel on research related to energy and environmental economics, including topics such as the impacts of aircraft noise on real estate values, consumer preferences in transportation, and the value of environmental amenities. Responsibilities may include preparing data for analysis, carrying out data analysis, and presenting research results.
This position is a 1 year full-time appointment.
Required: Ph.D. or equivalent international degree in Economics, finance, or related fields; strong empirical economics research skills and programming experience; English language proficiency, excellent skills in communication, presentation, and technical writing; self-motivation.
Preferred: Demonstrated interest in research focusing on energy and environmental economics and industrial organization.
