The College of Business at Michigan Technological University invites applications for a full-time position of Assistant Teaching Professor (non-tenure track) in the area of Economics starting August 2024.

The position requires teaching undergraduate economic courses and significant involvement with teaching and student focused service, including program coordination, curriculum development, and student recruitment and retention efforts. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in Applied Environmental Economics and must be able to teach a wide variety of courses, including Environmental Economics, Energy Economics, Mathematical Economics, Principles of Economics, and Economic Decision Analysis. A PhD in Economics is desirable but exceptional candidates with a master’s degree and candidates near completion of their PhD will be considered.
