This tenure-track position will be split 50% Teaching and 50% Research. The ideal candidate will be able to contribute to the department’s strengths in both agricultural and environmental/resource economics, but we will give full consideration to candidates from either field. Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining a successful research agenda that produces publications in high-quality peer-reviewed journals; being an effective teacher at the graduate and undergraduate levels; supervising PhD students; and providing service to the profession, department, college and university. The individual holding the position is expected to teach two courses annually, at either the graduate or undergraduate level, depending on departmental needs.
