We are inviting applications for a Post-Doctoral Associate in the Division of Social Science at NYU Abu Dhabi from individuals who have or will soon receive a PhD in Economics. The appointment will begin September 1, 2024, subject to final budget approval. The appointment will last 1-3 years.

The post-doctoral associate will spend half their time on independent research, and half of their time on collaborative research with Professor Wifag Adnan
(https://wp.nyu.edu/abudhabi-wifagadnan/) . The collaborative research will fall under the general field of Applied Microeconomics with a range of topics including inequality, market power, immigration, race, identity, illicit behavior and misinformation. Collaborators on ongoing projects include Cevat Aksoy, Bedoor AlShebli, Luis Baldomero, Haggay Etkes, Veda Narasimhan, Jordan Norris, Jonathon Zhang, and Angela Zheng.
