Full Text of JOE Listing:
A Research Associate position is available at the Duke Development Economics Lab (DevLab@Duke) within the Duke University Department of Economics. The Research Associate will collaborate with Professor Erica Field and co-PIs on applied experimental micro-economic development research on child marriage in Bangladesh, or gender and labor in Pakistan. They will engage in unique, high quality independent research. The position is in-person at Duke and typically lasts one year but may be extended based on mutual interest.
Qualifying candidates will have recently completed their PhD in economics. Individuals from under-represented populations are particularly encouraged to apply. Experience living and working in Bangladesh and fluency in Bangla, or in Pakistan and fluency in Urdu, will be distinct advantages.
