Seeking PhD in economics to read a large volume of (economic blogs and) academic papers and assist in writing a daily summary called the Macro Roundup. Remote work. Full or part-time, albeit with daily demands to read and write content in the mornings, review and post mid-afternoon.

As part-time work, ideal for someone raising children, reentering the workforce, retired, on sabbatical, or moonlighting professor/graduate student. This could also be structured as a job-share.

As full-time work, expanded to producing self-supervised data-driven summaries of existing economic analysis—e.g., a summary of the history leading up to the current US fiscal situation or a comparison of US vs European social sending—rather than empirical studies. Great opportunity for a person to acquire broad knowledge of the economic landscape.

Pay commensurate with experience.
