Full Text of JOE Listing:
The International Trade Administration (ITA) has openings for two economist positions. The mission of ITA is to create prosperity by strengthening the international competitiveness of U.S. industry, promoting trade and investment, and ensuring fair trade and compliance with trade laws and agreements.
The positions are in the Office of Trade and Economic Analysis (OTEA). The incumbent will be part of a team that provides substantive economic analysis of international trade, investment, employment, and productivity issues that affect the competitiveness of U.S. companies. Candidates must be U.S. citizens. If applicable, applicants must be registered with the Selective Service.
