New Mexico Tech (NMT) invites applications for a postdoctoral research associate position to work in the intersection area of agricultural production and energy transition (renewables, hydrogen, decarbonization, etc.). While we will consider any candidate with strong quantitative skills, candidates with experience in computational methods and outreach experience in rural and disadvantaged communities are particularly welcome to apply. The initial appointment will be for one year, renewable for another 1-2 years conditional on performance and funding availability. The research associate is expected to participate in project research activities while interacting with graduate and undergraduate research assistants. There will be manuscript and proposal development, stakeholder engagement, and other research training opportunities.
