Xavier University, an AACSB-accredited Jesuit University in the Catholic tradition, invites applications for a non-tenure track Teaching Professor position in the Department of Economics beginning in Fall 2024. This is primarily a teaching position that is annually renewable, with a pathway to promotion to the rank of Senior Teaching Professor. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. We welcome applicants from all fields with an ability and commitment to teach high quality courses in Principles of Microeconomics and Macroeconomics. Other teaching responsibilities may include a survey course for our College of Business students titled “International Trade & Business Environment.” There will also be opportunities to develop an upper-level elective in our new hire’s area of interest. Teaching professors are expected to be active members of the department/university. Salary will be competitive. The teaching load is twelve credit hours per semester. Applicants are expected to have completed their Master/PhD prior to the start of the Fall 2024 semester.
