The Sanford School of Public Policy at Duke University invites applications for a Research Scientist to support and collaborate with Prof. Manoj Mohanan on research projects related to health economics and policy in global health settings.

The candidate will participate in all aspects of the research process. There will be ample opportunities to plan new projects, prepare proposals, presentations, and manuscripts with the PI and collaborators.

The position will also provide the successful candidate flexible time to pursue their own research interests including opportunities to develop independent research projects and publications. The position will also require international travel to field sites as necessary, up to two trips per year.

Highlighted Qualifications:
• Ph.D. in Health Economics, or related fields, with rigorous training in econometrics and programming skills.
• Expertise or demonstrated interest in economics of global health.
• Experience participating in and/or coordinating collaborative experimental or field-based research projects with primary data collection.
• Strong record of contributions to research publications or presentations aimed at multi-disciplinary audiences in economics and global health.

The two-year position has an expected start date of July 1, 2024.
