Luther College seeks a Visiting Professor (open-rank) or Instructor of Economics for a one-year term position to begin late August 2024. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. or be ABD. The successful candidate will demonstrate the potential for teaching excellence, a commitment to mentoring students and creating equitable experiences for underrepresented communities, and a passion for the liberal arts. Strong applicants from all fields will be considered, although preference will be given to candidates whose qualifications support successfully teaching development economics or industrial organization. The successful candidate will pursue research and professional development activity to support their teaching interests.
