Haverford College invites applications for a one year full-time visiting position in the Economics Department for the 2024-25 academic year. Candidates will teach the equivalent of 5 courses, including three electives courses and supervise senior research projects. Candidates who can teach advanced courses in macroeconomics are especially encouraged to apply.

Candidates should have earned a Ph.D., and be available to start, by August 26, 2024.

Applicants should submit: (1) a cover letter; (2) a CV; (3) a statement of teaching philosophy, experience, and effectiveness; (4) a sample of recent papers, and: (5) three letters of recommendation. Review of applications will begin on May 7, continuing until the position is filled.
