The Graduate School of Economics at Kobe University invites applications for full-time tenure-track/permanent Assistant/Associate/Full Professors (up to two positions available) in macroeconomics, starting on April 1, 2025 (the start date is negotiable).
For the tenure-track positions, the initial appointment is for five years with a light administrative and teaching load.
Applicants must:
(i) Be able to teach macroeconomics, mathematics for economists, and introductory economics at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in both Japanese and English;
(ii) Hold a Ph.D. degree (or its equivalent) or be expected to obtain one by the start date;
(iii) Demonstrate a record of high-quality research in macroeconomics (peer-reviewed publications in international academic journals are required, but not necessarily for beginning researchers).
The application deadline is August 29, 2024, at 23:59 Japan Standard Time.
