Full-Time Visiting Faculty: Assistant Professor, Department of Economics & Finance

The Jack Welch College of Business & Technology (WCBT) at Sacred Heart University invites applications for one Visiting Assistant faculty position in the Economics program starting August 2024. 

A doctorate in economics or a graduate degree with considerable ongoing business experience is required, along with evidence of excellence in teaching and/or teaching potential.  ABDs will be considered.

The ideal candidate will be expected to:

Teach principles and upper-level undergraduate economics courses
Conduct quality research in the areas of economics or have considerable ongoing business experience
Contribute to innovative curricular development activities
Participate in department, school, and university-level services, including advising students
A solid background in econometrics and a programming language like Python is preferred
