SRI Education seeks a Senior Education Researcher with strong quantitative training, leadership experience and a commitment to improving education for all learners to lead projects and proposals integrating rigorous quantitative design and mixed methods approaches. You will guide collaborative project teams to apply an equity lens in designing and conducting research and large-scale program evaluations in K-16 education and communicating findings to diverse audiences.
Lead collaborative project teams to design and conduct rigorous research and large-scale program evaluations in K–16 education:
Function as Principal Investigator, co-Principal Investigator, or equivalent, assuming primary responsibility for quantitative research design, data collection, security, cleaning, analysis, and reporting as well as client management and communication
Design quantitative impact studies to meet What Works Clearinghouse (WWC) standards
Training experience:
PhD in social sciences or related policy fields with strong quantitative methodology training and 3 years related experience OR a similar master’s degree (e.g., statistics, biostatistics) and 8 years research experience
Experience as leading multi-site projects that require collection and analysis of multiple data sets from different sources
Experience leading quantitative design, writing, and budgeting of successful research proposals for federal agencies (e.g., the Department of Education or National Science Foundation), foundations, or commercial clients
