The Department of Agribusiness and Applied Economics at North Dakota State University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level. A doctoral degree and an active research program related to U.S. agricultural policy are required. The full-time position will be aligned with the Center for Agricultural Policy and Trade Studies, and the successful candidate is expected to serve as the Assistant Director of the Center. The primary selection criteria will be the quality of the applicant’s research and interests. The position provides an outstanding opportunity for independent research and ample opportunities for collaboration. The Assistant Professor is expected to participate actively in the University’s intellectual activities, maintain an active extension program, and engage with North Dakota’s agricultural stakeholders on policy issues relevant to the Upper Midwest.

Starting Date: January 16, 2025, or as negotiated.
