The Shelby Cullom Davis Endowment for American Business and Economic Enterprise at Trinity College seeks to hire visiting faculty, rank open, beginning September 2024 or possibly a future date depending on the candidate. We seek scholars who are committed to excellence in undergraduate teaching and research. The Shelby Cullom Davis Endowment at Trinity College was created to foster understanding of markets, organizations, and entrepreneurship. Faculty may teach courses from a broad established curriculum. Examples of courses are Formal Organizations and Market Behavior, Entrepreneurship and Markets, Matching Markets, Issues in Methodological Individualism, Leaderless Organizations, Theory and Philosophy of Markets, and Voice, Exit, and Power in Organizations.

PhD or PhD expected in Economics, Public Policy, History, Sociology, or other relevant field, or similar degree, such as JD. Candidates considered for non-tenure-track, temporary positions must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Applicants who require an H1-B visa cannot be considered for temporary positions. Applicants for non-tenure-track, temporary positions who require sponsorship for visas other than an H1-B visa will be required to pay all costs associated with visa applications.
