The Hoover Institution is seeking outstanding early-career scholars for a five-year Hoover Fellow appointment, with an option to renew for an additional term. This position, based at Stanford, CA, offers a 12-month base salary of $165,000 to $230,000 plus a $20,000 housing allowance, with no teaching responsibilities.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. (or equivalent) in a relevant field (e.g., economics, history, political science) by September 1, 2025. Hoover Fellows are expected to publish scholarly work with public policy implications and engage with Stanford’s research community.
