Full Text of JOE Listing:

The Department of Economics at the University of Notre Dame seeks applicants for a non-tenure track position to design and teach two core courses for a new Evidence-Based Poverty Alleviation concentration for economics majors. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellence in teaching and research in fields aligned with the Wilson Sheehan Lab for Economic Opportunities (LEO). A PhD in Economics or a closely related field is required.

Applicants should submit a cover letter, CV, evidence of teaching success, and three letters of recommendation to Interfolio http://apply.interfolio.com/151163. Candidates may submit one or more research papers; research activity is not necessary for a teaching professor appointment but interested candidates could be considered for a professor of the practice appointment that would also have research responsibilities.

We will begin reviewing applications on October 15, 2024. Questions may be directed to Professor Patrick Turner at patrick.turner@nd.edu.

The University of Notre Dame is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment regardless of race, religion, gender, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. We strongly encourage applications from women, minorities, and those attracted to a university with a Catholic identity.
