The Department of Economics at the University of Pennsylvania will have one tenure-track Assistant Professor position available with specialization in any field. We are a collaborative and interactive department. Our faculty and students are dedicated to applying vanguard theoretical, computational, and empirical methods to answer questions of general economic research and policy interest.
The successful candidate’s written materials and scholarly productivity will be expected to demonstrate:
● Strong research potential
● Capacity for teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate levels and mentoring and supporting a diverse student body
● Ability to direct graduate/undergraduate research
