Post-Doctoral Researcher in Economics of Sustainable Agri-Food Systems (m/w/d)

We are offering a full-time, three-year post-doctoral position (with the possibility of extension) at the Chair of Economics of Sustainable Agri-Food Systems.
You will plan and conduct research and contribute to teaching in the field of sustainable agri-food systems. Possible topics include climate change mitigation, sustainable production, farm decision-making, agricultural extension, animal welfare and consumer choices. You are expected to participate in existing projects but also to develop own initiatives for new projects.

Key Requirements:

• PhD (or close to completion) in food and agricultural economics, development economics,
economics, psychology, or a related field
• Proven research activity (publications or working papers)
• Strong quantitative and data analysis skills
• Excellent English proficiency
• Interest or experience in teaching and supervising MSc and BSc theses
• Strong communication skills

Desirable Skills:
• Experience with economic experiments and/or survey design
• Familiarity with the EU agricultural sector and sustainable production practices
• Strong organizational and administrative abilities with a track record of meeting deadlines
