The Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics at the University of California, Davis, invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in Econometrics. Teaching responsibilities include courses in the undergraduate joint business major as well as in the graduate econometrics sequence. The successful applicant will also be expected to conduct research in econometrics that is relevant to the department's disciplinary foci in the economics of agriculture, the environment and natural resources, and development. Applicants must have completed their Ph.D. by the beginning of the appointment and demonstrate promise of distinction in scholarship and teaching.

This recruitment is conducted at the Assistant Professor rank. The resulting hire will be at the assistant rank, regardless of the proposed appointee’s qualifications.
