The Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research (SIEPR, http://siepr.stanford.edu) invites applications for postdoctoral fellowships in applied economics, starting Summer/Fall 2025, as part of the Young Scholars program. This program supports early-career economists engaged in policy-relevant research, offering a competitive stipend and funding for travel and research.

SIEPR has more than 100 affiliated faculty from all seven schools at Stanford. Fellows will join Stanford’s vibrant economics community, with opportunities to collaborate, connect with mentors, and present their work.

SIEPR aims to promote evidence-based knowledge on economic issues for better-informed policy solutions. Applicants should focus on an applied policy research area aligned with SIEPR's focal areas (https://siepr.stanford.edu/research/focal-areas) and must have completed their Ph.D. between September 1, 2024, and August 31, 2025.

Applicants must submit a Cover Letter outlining research interests and potential SIEPR collaborators, CV, Job Market Paper, and three Letters of Recommendation. For full consideration, submit materials by December 1, 2024. Final deadline: January 31, 2025.
