The Department of Economics at the University of Oklahoma invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor position in Econometrics/Applied Microeconometrics/ Machine Learning, starting Fall 2025. A successful candidate must be an outstanding researcher and teacher.
Teaching responsibilities will include undergraduate and graduate level classes. The successful candidate will be capable of contributing to our Doctoral Econometrics sequence and our undergraduate programs. The regular teaching load is 2:2. Salary and benefits are competitive. A background check is required for employment.
OKC/Norman is a lovely place to live and work. Norman is an affordable “college town” with many social and recreational amenities and strong public schools. OU is an R1 Doctoral University with roughly 22,000 undergraduates, 7,000 graduate students, and 3,000 faculty.
Qualifications
A Ph.D. in Economics, or a related field, is required by appointment date.
