The Division of the Humanities and Social Sciences at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) invites applications from candidates for one tenured position at the full professor rank in applied microeconomics. Exceptionally well-qualified applicants at the associate level may be considered.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate high potential for interaction with one or more areas of existing strength at Caltech, such as experimental and behavioral economics, political science, social and decision neurosciences, and economic theory. We seek highly qualified candidates who are committed to a career in research and teaching.

Salaries for professorial faculty at Caltech fall in the range of $125,000 to $400,000.
