Capital University of Economics and Business (CUEB), founded by the government in 1956, is a prestigious comprehensive university located in Beijing, widely recognized for its excellence in Economics, Finance, Business, Accounting, Law, Science, and Engineering.
CUEB is seeking to fill faculty positions from Assistant Professor to full Professor, across all fields of Economics, Finance and Management.
Compensation package includes: basic annual salary from RMB 400,000-900,000, research funds, housing allowances, international airfare stipend, plus standard fringe benefits. Additionally, candidates are eligible to apply for the Beijing Project.
The Beijing Project includes:
-For the Full-time working program, a one-time reward of 1000000 (tax free).
-For the Youth program, a one-time reward of 500,000 (tax free).
-Providing visa support, Beijing household registration, medical care, insurance, schooling for children, and other services for the selected candidates.
Candidates are required to receive a PhD degree by September 2025, with strong research potential and evidence of quality teaching. Successful candidates are expected to engage in active research and teaching.
We categorize candidates' research fields into five groups:
Group 1: Microeconomics, Game Theory, Economic Theory, Industrial Organization, Behavioral Economics, Public Economics.
Group 2: Macroeconomics, Development Economics, Monetary Economics.
Group 3: Econometrics, Statistics.
Group 4: Corporate Finance, International Economics, Empirical Asset Pricing, Banking.
Group 5: Labor Economics, Environmental Economics, Health Economics, Political Economics, Economics of Education, Information Economics, Digital Economics, Land Economics.
Candidates should specify the group and subfield that align with their research interests (e.g., Group 5: Health Economics). Alternatively, candidates may select “Other” and specify a research field, such as “Other: Management Engineering.”
