The School of Sustainability (SOS) at Arizona State University invites applications for two full-time faculty appointments in sustainable energy systems. One is a tenure-track, assistant professor rank and the second is tenured/tenure-track at the rank of assistant, associate, or full professor. These positions are expected to begin employment in August 2025.

We are looking for interdisciplinary scholars who study the dynamics of transitioning from fossil fuels to sustainable energy systems, including considerations of technology, markets, finance, policy, and/or governance. We especially encourage applicants who apply data analytics and modeling approaches (e.g., economics, techno-economics, technological change, system dynamics) to the analysis of energy transitions and energy policy, including issues of just transitions and energy justice.
