The Tobin Center for Economic Policy at Yale University seeks an exceptional candidate for a Postdoctoral Associate position in the Health Policy Initiative for the 2025-2026 academic year. This is a one-year, full-time appointment, with possibility of renewal. Professors Zack Cooper and Janet Currie are leading this initiative.

This position provides an excellent opportunity for an early-career economist to develop high-impact, top tier research under the mentorship of Professors Cooper and Currie. Ideal candidates will have prior experience conducting research relevant to health economics and health policy, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively.

The Postdoctoral Associate will gain valuable experience conducting health policy economics research, contributing to an agreed-upon project portfolio and building their own research portfolio. The candidate will also participate in the initiative’s programs, including seminars and conferences, be open to opportunities for research collaboration, and provide consultations to graduate students interested in health policy.

Applicants must complete have completed their PhD prior to the start of the position. The salary complies with the Yale Office of Postdoctoral Affairs compensation policy and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
