The Department of Economics has openings for one or more full time Lecturers beginning Fall 2025. The initial contract will be for the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters. Subsequent one-year appointments are dependent upon performance and departmental needs.
The teaching load is four sections per semester with section sizes between 15 and 45 students. The successful applicant may be asked to teach one or more of the following courses: applied business statistics, principles of microeconomics, principles of macroeconomics, macro/monetary theory, junior and senior level economics classes or graduate classes.
Required qualifications: MA or MS in Economics and related fields or statistics. Ability to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
Preference will be given to those applicants who have demonstrated teaching excellence in classes where the applicant was the instructor of record and can demonstrate an ability to satisfy AACSB accreditation standards.
