Econometrica, Inc., is a research and management organization committed to providing high-quality, cost-effective economic and analytical services for clients in the private and public sectors. Econometrica specializes in research, econometric, analytical, and technical support for our clients, with an emphasis on data science, data analytics, statistics, economic analyses, and program implementation and evaluation services.

Econometrica is seeking a Senior Economist to support and help expand our Evaluation practice area. This position involves working with Federal clients to evaluate the effectiveness of Federal programs and policies; leading economic studies and analyses; and supporting business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities: (see Econometrica careers page for full job description)

-Lead different types of studies and program evaluations.

-Anticipate and mitigate typical evaluation project risks.

-Interface and Collaborate with stakeholder groups and subject matter experts.

-Lead literature searches for background information and latest trends in Federal policy.

-Lead business development activities.

Education and Experience:

-Master’s degree, Ph.D. preferred.
-7+ years of applied research evaluating Federal or State government programs.
-5+ years of business development experience for the Federal or State government sector.

Preferred Qualifications:
-Expertise in one or more of the following areas: healthcare (delivery, clinical, finance), homeland security, labor, education, immigration, housing, finance.
