The Department of Economics at Vanderbilt University invites applications for a tenure-track
position at the Assistant Professor level beginning fall 2024 in the area of applied econometrics with empirical applications in industrial organization, international trade, and other related microeconomic areas. Vanderbilt stresses excellence in research and teaching in its doctoral, masters, and undergraduate programs.

Appointment at the Assistant Professor level requires a Ph.D. as of August 1, 2024. Advanced assistant professors within 4 years or so of their Ph.D. with a demonstrated record of excellence in research and teaching are strongly encouraged to apply.

Submissions should include CV, sample research paper, statement of research and teaching interests, evidence of teaching effectiveness including teaching evaluations if available, and three confidential letters of recommendation.
