The Department of Economics at Vanderbilt University invites applications for a two-year Visiting Assistant Professor position to begin August 16, 2024. A successful candidate will have a PhD. in Economics awarded no later than August 1, 2024, and a strong desire to teach undergraduate courses in core areas of economics as well as the ability to offer elective courses in their fields of interest. The field of specialization is open. The standard course load will be two courses per semester and the term of appointment will be for two years. Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The position will remain open until filled.
