Call for Papers for TeachECONference2021
UCL's Centre for Teaching and Learning Economics and Cornell University are delighted to announce the upcoming #TeachECONference2021!
The conference will open on June 28 with a plenary discussion, focused on the challenges and opportunities of teaching economics in 2020/21. It will run on Zoom over three days.
We invite you to submit a proposal to present at the conference. We are looking for people to submit ideas for 10-minute presentations on any topic that they think will be of interest to people involved with economics education at the university level. This can include topics that relate to what happens in the classroom and/or online, your perspectives on assessment, how you approach student support and a whole lot more. The presentation can be a reflection on your own experience, research in progress or a paper that is almost ready for publication. We are interested in topics that engage the audience and provide insights on what it is like to teach in our ever-evolving world.
To submit please follow this link: https://ctale.org/teacheconference2021/.
Proposals are limited to 1800 characters (i.e., ~300 words) and the deadline is February 1st 2021 at 11:59pm GMT/6:59pm EST.
