The Department of Economics at Dickinson College invites applications for a visiting position at the Assistant Professor level for a one-year period beginning in the 2024-2025 academic year. Candidates should have already earned, or be near completion of, a Ph.D. in economics or related field. The primary teaching responsibilities may include introductory microeconomics, intermediate microeconomics, environmental and natural resource economics, and other electives. Teaching experience is required and the ability to create inclusive learning environments for an increasingly diverse student body will be an important characteristic of the successful candidate. The teaching load is five courses per year.
